Energy Outreach Colorado’s 2017 Annual Report now available

A new overview of Energy Outreach Colorado’s (EOC) work to secure affordable home energy costs for Coloradans is now available in our 2017 Annual Report.

This report includes program highlights about energy bill payment assistance, emergency home heating system repair, home weatherization, affordable housing and nonprofit energy efficiency upgrades, and energy education. Together, our programs support safer, healthier and more affordable homes for limited-income households who typically must pay a high percent of their income for home energy.

In 2017, EOC invested $6.62 million to help energy consumers across the state maintain home energy. We managed the installation of 905 furnace repairs and 665 furnace replacements, weatherized 2,565 affordable housing apartments and 305 homes to lower energy costs and usage, and helped 67 nonprofits lower energy costs so they can serve more members of our community.

“No child should go to sleep cold, and no elderly person should suffer without lights or working appliances,” said Jennifer Gremmert, EOC’s executive director. “With your help, we can continue to meet our goals and ensure this mission.”
