We work with local agency partners to provide Bill Payment Assistance to households across Colorado who are behind on their energy bills. Payments are made directly to your local utility or fuel company.
If you are without heat, we can help you through our Crisis Intervention Program. We can coordinate emergency repair and/or replacement of your heating system.
Your home’s energy efficiency is a crucial component of your overall energy costs and improving it can lead to a lower bill and less energy consumption. Our CARE Program can help.
Our Community Solar Program connects income-qualified households with solar power to help lower your energy costs and increase Colorado’s renewable energy production.
The Healthy Homes Program helps Denver residents living with breathing conditions with home energy upgrades like insulation, electric appliances, and heating systems.

STATE PROGRAMS
The State of Colorado provides energy assistance programs that work in partnership with our services to help households across the state.
- The Colorado Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) is a federally funded program that helps eligible Colorado families, seniors, and individuals pay a portion of their home heating costs.
- The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) provides free energy efficiency services for income-qualified Coloradans.
