2023

  • Denver Business Journal’s Partners in Philanthropy was awarded to EOC for demonstrating innovation and best practices in partnerships with other nonprofits and corporations at any level of engagement to provide critical services to Coloradans.
  • The Green Hope Award from Mercy Housing Mountain Plains was given in recognition of many multifamily housing energy efficiency upgrades provided by EOC to Mercy Housing buildings to help ensure affordable housing.
  • The Department of Energy selected Xcel’s utility-owned 6MW IQ-specific garden Staying Sunny in Colorado as a Grand Prize winner which recognizes EOCs’ demonstration of effective ways to equitably deliver solar benefits to income-qualified communities, and for the seamless collaboration between Xcel and EOC program staff.
  • EOC received the Rick Healy Award from Earthlinks in recognition of our commitment to sustainability in the Denver community.
  • EOC executive director/CEO, Jennifer Gremmert, received the 2023 Colorado Titan 100 Award for demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision, and passion.

2022

  • With energy efficiency upgrades completed through our Nonprofit Energy Efficiency Program (NEEP), the Centro San Juan Diego building won an Energize Denver Award in the Energy Efficiency category from The City of Denver.
  • EOC received the Department of Energy Inclusive Solar Outreach Award recognizing industry campaigns increasing solar adoption and workforce development in diverse communities.
