Jennifer Gremmert, Executive Director
From an early age, Jennifer knew she wanted to be of service to people who are struggling with insurmountable hardships. Her vision has always been to find solutions that would prevent the continued cycle of poverty and inequality experienced by vulnerable families, which lead her to pursue undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science. She then continued her education receiving a Master’s in Nonprofit Management.
Jennifer went on to work for numerous nonprofit organizations and developed experience and expertise in regulatory and programmatic solutions to ensure that vulnerable families have access to affordable, reliable home energy.
Jennifer worked for Energy Outreach Colorado from 1996-1998, returning in 2002 as the organization’s Deputy Director and promoted to Executive Director in 2018. She leads a network of industry, state, and local partners to help stabilize vulnerable families so they can afford their home energy costs, and she has extensive experience working with the PUC, utilities, and industry, and substantial knowledge and experience in the Colorado legislative process.
