Electronics, Appliances & Lighting Conservation Tips

Make these Quick Adjustments

  • Set sleep mode on electronics (found in the settings menu)
  • Unplug appliances and displays when not in use
  • Set fridge temp to 36-36° and freezer to 0-5°.  If your knob has numbers labeled 1-5, set the fridge to 3; if labeled 1-9, set it to 4. The higher the number, the colder the fridge.

Water Heating Conservation Tips

Adjust & Save

  • Turn down the water heater temperature to 120 °.  If your water heater has a knob, turn it to the ▲ icon.
  • Wash clothes in cold water
  • Add aerators to sinks to reduce water usage
