Energy Outreach honored for supporting military personnel and families

Energy Outreach Colorado is honored to be recognized by The Home Front Cares for its support of Colorado military members, veterans and their families. EOC was presented the Bob Carlone Military Community Award recently at The Home Front Cares’ annual fundraising event in Colorado Springs.

The award is named after the charity’s late co-founder and recognizes an organization that “makes a most significant contribution to the welfare of the families of those who have deployed in harm’s way.”

Energy Outreach provides an annual grant to The Home Front Cares to provide energy bill payment assistance to military members, veterans and their families who can’t afford to keep up with their home energy bills.

Accepting the award from Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers was Enrique Hernandez, manager of EOC’s energy assistance program.
