Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) is partnered with Pivot Energy to provide free subscriptions to their PS21 Garden located in Aurora, CO. This garden is 100% dedicated to limited-income households across the state of Colorado. EOC manages the subscriptions to make sure the benefit goes to households in need. Households save a minimum of 50% on their annual electricity costs. Each year, this project will offset the amount of greenhouse gases consumed by 944,166 gallons of gasoline.

At the end of April 2024, there was a fire in one of the inverters at the PS21 site, which caused PS21 to be shut down for most of May 2024. Because of this fire, the solar credits for May 2024 were significantly lower.
PS21 was re-energized at half capacity on May 28th, 2024. You should continue to receive credits for the time being, just at a reduced amount. This reduction in credits is only temporary. Pivot Energy is working to repair the site.
We will provide you with an updated timeline for when PS21 is fully energized again as soon as this information becomes available. In the meantime, please contact our team if you have any questions, concerns, or need additional help.

Estimated Date for Savings to Begin:
Between May – July 2024
If your meter read date is after the 9th of the month, credits should begin on your May 2024 statement. If your meter read date is on or before the 9th of the month, you may see a one-month lag in bill credits.
