Equitable Energy Transition

In 2020, Denver voters overwhelmingly approved the Climate Protection Fund (CPF) to help eliminate greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution and equitably adapt to the impacts of climate change.

Using CPF dollars and through support from the Office of Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency (CASR) for the City and County of Denver, the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless will modernize and electrify the heating system in the Forum Apartments complex.

In the video below, Vice President of Housing Development for Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and EOC Board Member Jennifer Cloud and EOC’s CEO and Executive Director Jennifer Gremmert discuss the project and how it will help lower energy costs and heighten the energy efficiency of the building.
