Jennifer Gremmert becomes executive director of Energy Outreach Colorado, Skip Arnold retires

Denver, CO – MONDAY January 8, 2018 – Today, Jennifer Gremmert assumes the role of executive director at Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC). Gremmert was appointed to this position by the EOC Board of Directors following the retirement of Skip Arnold who served as the executive director for 14 years.

Gremmert has over 20 years of non-profit leadership experience and previously served as EOC’s deputy director since 2003. She has worked for many years with statewide partners to improve the quality of life for low-income households and ensure that they can remain safely, and comfortably in their homes.

“EOC started with the core mission of raising funds to help pay overdue home energy bills for Coloradans, and has expanded to also providing longer-term solutions to affordability such as weatherization and energy education,” Gremmert said. “Every time we come in contact with a household, we want to provide as much assistance as possible to improve their well-being.”

For over 28 years, EOC has been a leading expert on issues impacting low-income energy consumers, and through strong public and private partnerships, has helped raise and leverage millions of dollars to reduce energy costs and usage for low-income Coloradans.
