Energy Outreach Colorado’s CARE program has reached a significant milestone with the completion of 1,000 homes since the programs launch in 2015. CARE was created to address the growing need for home weatherization and energy upgrade services for income-qualifying households in rural communities. Over the past five years, CARE has expanded into over 40 counties across the state.
Energy efficiency is a crucial component to residents being able to afford their energy costs. The program funds the entire installation cost of energy efficiency measures by leveraging resources provided by our partnerships with utilities, rural electrics, and private donors.
Energy Outreach Colorado has been helping vulnerable Coloradans afford their home energy costs for over 30 years.
