Grants for Non-Profits and Affordable Housing Buildings

Energy Outreach Colorado offers these energy efficiency grants for facilities:

  • Nonprofit Energy Efficiency Program (NEEP): Grant program benefiting nonprofit organizations that serve low-income Coloradans through the purchase and installation of new energy efficient equipment such as LED lighting, refrigerators, insulation, HVAC equipment and low-flow water fixtures. Organizations benefit from lower energy costs and can allocate more operating budget to community services. For more information, click here.

  • Affordable Housing Rebate program: Provides custom utility rebates for energy efficiency work in affordable housing. Includes lighting retrofits, boiler replacements, insulation work and low-flow fixtures. Available to deed-restricted and market rate housing as long as 66% of the units are 80% Area Median Income or lower. For more information, click here.

  • Affordable Housing Weatherization Program: Provides state and federal fundeding to affordable, multi-family housing for boilers, insulation, air-quality ventilation, refrigerators, LED lighting, and low-flow fixtures. Qualifying properties must be centrally-heated, and have 5 or more units per building
