EOC managing federally-funded Crisis Intervention Program

With stormy weather still in the forecast, Energy Outreach Colorado is offering a silver lining for low-income Coloradans who can’t afford to fix their heating system. There is still funding available to provide FREE home heating system repair and replacement for households who qualified this year for the Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP).

EOC manages the Crisis Intervention Program, which is federally funded. Repair services are provided through EOC’s statewide network of licensed, certified and insured HVAC contractors. The program does not provide for regular maintenance and servicing of home heating systems. To apply, call toll-free 1-855-469-4328.

More than 750 households across Colorado already have benefited from this year’s Crisis Intervention Program by having their non-working home heating systems either repaired or replaced with an energy-efficient one.
