Energy Outreach Colorado partners with more than 100 emergency
assistance agencies across the state to provide low-income families with
year-round assistance paying their energy bills.
As an independent nonprofit organization, EOC raises energy assistance
funds through individuals, corporations and foundations. These
funds are distributed as grants to community assistance agencies,
which use trained case workers to apply the funds as credits
to the utility bills of qualified applicants. Please click

EOC also provides additional funding for Colorado's Low-Income Energy
Assistance Program (LEAP). This federally-funded program is
managed through the Colorado Department of Human Services and accepts
applications November through April. Click

about LEAP.
EOC was established in 1989 to bridge the gap between the increasing
need for low-income energy assistance and the limited public funding
available for these programs. EOC typically helps households who
still need assistance after receiving LEAP, who do not fall within
LEAP's qualifications, or who need assistance during the months when
LEAP is not accepting applications.
