MATCHING FUNDS
In lieu of matching funds, nonprofits will be required to:
-
Create an Energy Action Plan for your
facility. This plan will address opportunities to reduce energy
consumption at your facility and will involve implementing new
behaviors and policies regarding energy conservation.
-
Present your Energy Action Plan to a
cohort of other nonprofits.
-
Submit a ‘Request for Funding’ mid-way
through the program that addresses:
-
Why EOC should consider funding the
improvements identified to save energy at your facility
-
What steps your nonprofit has taken since
participating in the program to address the no cost conservation
opportunities
-
How your clients will benefit from the
utility cost savings available through this program.
In some cases there may be opportunities
to provide matching funds in order to increase
the amount of work that can be completed at your facility but these
measures will only be options and no matching funds are required to
participate in this program.
APPLICATION
Applications are reviewed three times per year. All complete
applications received by February 1st, June 1st, and November 1st
(extended from the previous deadline of October 1st) will be
considered. You will be notified of decisions within six weeks of the
deadline. All approved applicants will be required to attend an
orientation meeting.
