3rd Party Fundraising Overview

If keeping your fellow Coloradans warm and safe in their own homes is important to you, then join together with your friends and family to fundraise for Energy Outreach Colorado. Putting together a third-party event—a fundraising event created and hosted by you—is easy and fun.

Need ideas? Host a bowling tournament, an arts-and-crafts show or a beard-growing challenge. We’ve had real estate agents donate their sales commissions to us, and couples ask for donations to EOC rather than wedding gifts. In other words, do whatever inspires you to support EOC, and have a great time doing it!

Get started with these simple steps:

  1. Plan your event – Determine the type of fundraiser you want to have.
  2. Review our event tips and guidelines (download here).
  3. Complete our Third-Party Proposal and Agreement Form and return it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Once your event has been approved, we will contact you with our logo and other materials for use in promoting your event.
  4. Promote your event – Set up a crowdfunding page on a platform like Crowdrise and promote your event there and through your own social networks. We suggest Crowdrise because it lets you provide details about your event to guests, take credit card donations directly through your page and more.
